ETA window
An ETA window is the estimated span of time in which a delivery is expected to arrive, given to the customer before the driver is close enough to be certain.

It differs from a promised time window: the promise is what the business committed to, the ETA is what the plan currently predicts. Honest software labels the difference, because customers punish a “9:15” that turns out to be 10:40 more than they punish a “9 to 11”.
In Porch Route every displayed time declares its basis — actual, planned or estimated — and the customer's tracking page shows the truck's position while it is on the way, so the estimate is one the customer can see for themselves. The “almost there” notice goes out a set number of minutes before arrival.
