Bakeries and meal prep
Fresh orders out the door on time, every delivery day.
Porch Route sequences each morning’s stops to arrive inside every customer’s window, keeps chilled meals on refrigerated vehicles, and gives each driver the day in order on their phone. Import the day from a spreadsheet or your store, print a run sheet per route, and follow it on the dispatch board.

The problem
Why is delivery hard for bakeries?
- Delivery windows that customers plan their morning around
- Chilled meals and dry goods going out in the same run
- A day’s orders sitting in a spreadsheet or a store export
- Drivers who need the day’s stops in the right order before they leave
How Porch Route helps
What does Porch Route do for bakeries?
- Time windows on every order, planned into the route
- Refrigerated and dry kept on vehicles that can carry them
- Import a day of orders from a CSV, or send them from your store over the API
- Lock a stop in place, drag to reorder, or move a stop to another route
- A printable manifest per route with every stop and line item
What it looks like on the day.
A planned route's stops in order with estimated arrival times, and one stop locked in place.
Every number in these screens is the planner’s own answer for a demo day — not a mock-up of one.
One delivery day
What does one delivery day look like?
Step 1: The day’s orders, with windows
Import the CSV from your order sheet or store — the column matcher handles your headers — with each order’s window (“9am–noon” is understood). Meal-prep orders take their temperature from the coldest item.
Step 2: Build before the ovens cool
Choose the day and the vehicles and build. Every stop is sequenced inside its window; chilled orders go only on refrigerated vehicles; the same orders always plan the same way, so nobody is surprised at the briefing.
Step 3: Fix what you know better
Drag a stop, lock the one that must be first, or move a stop to another route. Re-optimize never moves a locked stop.
Step 4: Run sheets and an early dispatch
Print a run sheet per route. Dispatch sends the “scheduled” notice — and if that’s at 5 AM, quiet hours hold it until 8 AM while live updates on the day still go out.
Step 5: Drivers deliver in order
Drive mode shows the next stop and its instructions, hands navigation to the phone’s maps app, and takes a photo at the door. A dropped signal doesn’t stop the route.
Step 6: See the day on one board
The dispatch board shows every route on a timeline and a map, who is running late, and any stop that needs attention.
Pricing
What does Porch Route cost bakeries this size?
Every feature is on every plan. Plans differ only by how many orders and customer texts they include each month, and by support — never by drivers or vehicles.

| Neighbourhood bakery | 200 | 1 | Starter | $39/month |
| Meal prep kitchen | 800 | 2 | Porch | $79/month |
| Wholesale bakery | 2,500 | 5 | Route | $189/month |
Monthly billing; annual billing is two months free. Porch and Route include unlimited vehicles and drivers. Fleet is priced for your volume.
Questions
What bakeries ask us.
Can I set a delivery window per order?
Yes — a start and end on each order, by hand, in the CSV (“9am–noon”, “13:00–15:00”) or over the API. Zones can also carry a default window for the orders in them.
Will customers get texts at 5 in the morning?
Not if you don’t want them to. Quiet hours hold scheduled notices and reminders due overnight until the morning; live updates on a delivery day always go out.
Can drivers see what’s in each order?
Yes. Drive mode lists the items and quantities on every stop, and the printed run sheet has every line item in stop order.
Can I reuse last week’s route?
Not as a saved template yet. Import the same orders and build again: the same orders and vehicles always plan the same way, and you can lock any stop that must stay put.
