Which is cheaper, OptimoRoute or Porch Routes?
It depends on drivers versus orders. OptimoRoute charges per driver: Lite is $39 and Pro is $49 a driver a month, billed monthly, or $35.10 and $44.10 billed annually. Its own example is five drivers on Pro for $245 a month. Porch Routes charges by orders, with any number of drivers: Starter is $39 a month for up to 500 orders, Porch $79 for up to 1,000, and Route $189 for up to 5,000. With one driver and up to 500 orders, OptimoRoute Lite and Starter cost the same. With two or more drivers, Porch Routes costs less: two drivers on Pro is $98 against $79 on Porch, and five is $245 against $189 on Route even at 5,000 orders. OptimoRoute doesn’t limit monthly orders, only how many you plan at once (700 on Lite, 1,000 on Pro), so one driver doing a lot of stops can come out cheaper there.
Does OptimoRoute have webhooks?
Not that its documentation describes. The API guide covers live tracking events and completion details. Porch Routes pushes signed webhooks for every outcome and keeps a delivery log.
Does Porch Routes have recurring orders?
Not yet. OptimoRoute offers recurring orders in beta. Porch Routes brings each day’s orders in by CSV or API today; standing schedules are being built and this page will say when they ship.
Can I get notifications and proof on Porch Routes’ free plan?
Yes for email: Porch Light sends email and tracking-link updates and keeps proof of delivery. Texts come with Starter at $39 a month, 750 included, once texting is ready. OptimoRoute’s customer notifications and proof of delivery start on Pro [1].
