Time window
A time window is the span of time — such as 9 AM to 1 PM — within which a delivery has been promised to arrive.

Windows can belong to a zone (everyone in the north county gets Tuesday mornings) or to a single order (the office that closes at 5). Narrow windows please customers and constrain the plan; a good planner sequences stops to arrive inside each one and tells you before dispatch which windows it can't keep.
In Porch Route every order can carry a window, zones carry a default one, and the optimizer plans arrivals inside them. Estimated arrival times are labelled as estimates until the driver actually arrives.
