A2P 10DLC
A2P 10DLC is the US carriers' registration system for application-to-person text messages sent from ordinary 10-digit long-code phone numbers.

A business registers a brand (who is sending) and a campaign (what it sends and how people opt in and out). Unregistered traffic is filtered and pays extra fees. When a business texts through a software platform, the platform registers the business — with the business's own details, not its own.
In Porch Route customer texts go out under the business's name and start once its carrier registration is approved; until then texts are logged rather than sent, and email and tracking links carry the updates from day one.
